Dr Thiago Giraldi D.V.M
Dr Thiago graduated in 2005 from University of Sao Paulo State and started his career is Veterinary Medicine. In 2009 he migrated to Australia and worked as a Veterinary Nurse while he prepared to take exams to enable him to practice as a Veterinarian in Australia.
Since his first job in a small animal clinic in Port Stephens NSW, Dr Thiago has worked in several different clinics and Hospitals in both metro and regional Australia, gaining experience in General Practice and Emergency Medicine.
In 2017, Dr Thiago moved from Sydney to Brisbane to take on a position as Veterinary Director at Greencross in Cannon Hill. After nearly 3 years he decided to leave and start his own clinic, Newstead Vets.
Dr. Thiago's primary areas of interest include surgical procedures, dental health, and effective management of pain.
He spends his free moments enjoying time with his wife and children but occasionally, when the weather allows, he finds himself jumping from airplanes.

Dr Rava graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019. Rava initially commenced working in mixed animal practice and recently completed an internship in small animal surgery.
Originally born in Tahiti (French Polynesia), she grew up on the Gold Coast and since settled in Brisbane. Prior to studying veterinary science, Rava completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Clinical Science, majoring in Clinical Physiology, at Griffith University.
Dr Rava is particularly interested in surgery and management of pain and orthopaedic diseases.
In her spare time, Rava enjoys cycling, and spending time with family, friends, and her pets, Leo the Chihuahua, Elsa the Greyhound, and Goose the Sphynx.

Dr Sarah graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019, after which, she completed an internship in small animal surgery. She then went on to work in General Practice and Emergency and Critical Care.
She was born and raised in Hong Kong and decided to make her move to Queensland for University in the sunshine. She loves all areas of the profession so far with a keen interest in surgery.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, hiking and spending time with her demanding cat, Teacup.

Eviie moved to Brisbane in 2019 and joined our team in June 2023. She started her nursing career after working in wildlife care and rehabilitation for several years across North Queensland, England and Africa. Since then, she has worked in General Practice, Avian and Exotic Medicine and spent many years in Emergency and Critical Care, leading to a role as a supervisor for Emergency Tele-Triage.
From her nursing roles she has developed a passion for helping pets, clients, and veterinary teams through challenging circumstances. She is driven to develop trusting relationships with clients and to maintain high standards of care.
In her down time, Eviie loves bird watching, gardening, and hiking through forests. Currently she has three gorgeous cats, Alfie, Winnie, and Otto. She is also an advocate for personal development and recently completed a degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology.

Her goal is to one day work with wildlife, protecting and conserving our native species. When not busy working, Naomi enjoys her time outdoors, at the beach or hiking and camping. She is an avid reader and loves spending time with her cat, Kiwi.

Eduardo emigrated from Chile to Australia in 2019 with hopes of a new and better life. He graduated in Veterinary Science in 2017 and had the chance work overseas (South Africa) where he completed a 12month internship at an Equine hospital. In 2022 he started working as a Veterinary Nurse in Australia, where he showed special interest in surgical procedures as well as patient care and mentoring students. He is currently studying for his Veterinary Exam.
When he is not working he enjoys going to the gym and staying active, reading books, and spending time with family and friends.
